About Me and My Photography

My name is Jonas Godwin and I am a 16 year old photographer from Lee's Summit, Missouri, a city outside of Kansas City, Missouri. I really got into photography after a trip to Arizona where I took some 'really cool' pictures on my IPhone. When I got back from my trip I decided that I wanted to get a DSLR and start taking my photography to the next level. I did tons of research and found a perfect starter camera for myself. I received the camera for Christmas 2014 from my dad. Throughout the next year I excelled in learning new tactics and ideas for photography. One year later, I received a Canon 5d Mk iii for Christmas 2015. Having this equipment has made me into a self taught photographer. I hope to inspire others to chase their dreams, I am only 16 and I have no clue if, or how I am going to get a job as a photographer. But, in the mean time I will share my work with everyone and everybody.
